He was born in Germany and he was the son of the Danish German Princess Margrethe Nassau of Denmark and Germany.
Prince Nassau travelled to Brasil.
He was the Regent Guvenor of Brasil.
He as a Prince carried The Royal Danish Elephant Order necklace.
The Famous painter Eckhout painted over 20 painters by orders from Prince Nassau.
Prince Nassau sended 20 painters of The Brasilian Landscapes as a gift to his cousin King Frederic 3th of Denmark who wrote the first Danish Groundlaw.
At the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen Denmark you can see the ancient painters from year 1600 century.
